by asilentone inwell, let me tell you about my experience in dating a married woman about a year ago or so, i was dating a married woman, she did not tell me that she was married, but i found about it and i told her that i know that she is married, then she decided not to see me.
she is really hot.
well recently, i learned that my recent date is actually married, but she is also really hot, should i keep my mouth shut not telling her that i know that she is married, so i can keep the relationship with her, i would not mind because i really like her..

That is so sad. It is really hard to have your life dismissed after being told you are doing God's will. Such a shame he couldn't see his way through the darkness.
Most do not realize the watchtower world is a throwaway society until they are the ones being disposed of. Sorry for your loss.

How did they know if someone was Circumcised?
by RubaDub inso as not to hijack the current "paul" thread, i'll comment here.
paul spoke about circumcision numerous times and even circumcised timothy.. not to make light of the topic, but i have always wondered, how did anyone know if someone else was circumcised???
i have been a jw my entire life and will honestly tell you that i don't know which brothers are circumcised and which are not.. i mean, did guys back then watch each other at the urinals or peek in the windows when someone was getting dressed?

I think public bath houses and even large public toilets were common. I saw a show recently on the History channel that showed a large bathroom, I mean large, with many seats of marble for toilets.
I thought it was strange to have to share toilet time with a crowd.

by highdose ina few times in the ministry i would find someone clued in who would ask the jw on their doorstep " so what your saying is, unless i join your religon god will kill me?
and everyone else who isn't part of your religon?
" now theres only one answer to that question as far as jw's are concerned but i never saw a single one answer that with a straight answer, mostly i suspect because they were so uncomfortable about being made to face the truth about their beliefs..

I've got it we are Jesus's "Facebook Acquaintence"
by cantleave ini have been reading the various analysis of the oct 15 koolaid wt articles.
these are indicating that ineffect we are friends of jesus by proxy, the fds are the real friends of jesus and becasue we are their friends, we know jesus.. it like a facebook account.
i have friends on facebook who are friends with other people i don't personally, except by the comments they leave on the wall of my friends.

I'm glad you found it. I remembered it because it disturbed me as a dub. I don't think I can find much anymore because I threw away most of my dub stuff. Most dubs don't realize it just as a lot of them don't realize that Jesus is not considered to be their mediator.
They have such a way of deflating the rank and file until there is not much self esteem left. I think they are on dangerous ground here as they are taking away things that the Bible says were for all mankind.
Doesn't the Bible say that Jesus is the mediator between God and mankind and that the meek will inherit the earth?

That's about the way they say it is. I remember when I read that the "other sheep" didn't inherit the earth, but the annointed did. What? They are going to heaven, but they need to have the earth be theirs too?

To tell my parents or not to tell my parents...unfortunately that is a question

first off, a little background info.
i am an only child and my parents, in addition to quite difficult circumstances we've all experienced, both personally and as a family while i was growing up, remain devout.

I really hate this shunning thing. I had a dfd kid who came and told me they were getting married and I went to the wedding. You know youself and your parents better.
Whatever you do, don't let them spoil things for you. Congratulations!
